Tried this place for the first time today. Due to the reviews about wait time, I called ahead for a pickup order. I was quoted a 55 minute wait, from 11:50 am to 12:45pm. So glad I called. The restaurant was very small, quite, but had a nice small family business feel to it. The music playing did set the ambiance, may not be a good place for young kids though. My rambunctious baby would have caused havoc here. The service seems friendly. I ordered a falafel wrap, gyro pizza, and a meat supreme pizza. It was my first falafel, it was good, a little too much lemon in the sandwich for me, but big and fresh. The meat supreme pizza was very good, fresh, big and tasty. I love the gyro pizza, the cheese gives the pizza and amazing taste. It was my favorite by far. Would try again.
Nina's is one of my favorite restaurants in Palm Springs! It is my go to place at least once a week. It is charming and quaint and one of those places where your food is actually cooked and served by Nina and her husband. It is hands down THE BEST GREEK FOOD in Palm Springs!
Everything is fresh and made in house. If you are looking for fast food, then this isn't the place as Nina prides herself on making everything to order for her customers. You need to get there early as they usually close at 7 PM. And you can also order by phone for takeout.
The Greek salad is amazing with a huge block of Feta Cheese on top and I always add chicken to it as well. It's a meal all by itself. I have also tried the chicken plate, the Lamb Shank, the gyro plate and the chicken gyro sandwich, and many of the pasta dishes as well. All were amazing, unique and fresh!
The 16" meat pizza is one of the BEST pizzas in Palm Springs. It has generous portions of Canadian bacon, pepperoni, salami, sausage, and meatballs and loaded with fresh mozzarella.
I always add a bottle of Mythos Greek beer to complement my meal. They also have an assortment of Greek wines too. No matter how full I am, I top it all off with Nina's savory handmade Baklava for desert.
Nina's never disappoints and it is truly a hidden gem in the city!
Its a full five years later and if anything the food has somehow gotten better. The slam dunk is the platter for two, which EASILY feeds 4. Its everything you've ever had but better. Dolmas, which I've always been MEH about, and even the hummus is extraordinary as well as the tzatziki, and if you request they'll do a combo of chicken and gyro. They literally go beyond expectations every single time.

After seeing My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 the logical thing was to have food of Hellas. I can't believe we never discovered Nina's Pita & Pizza before! I spent a good deal of time in Greece and I have to tell you, this is the real deal. Simple. Delicious. Fresh. Authentic, just like Nina's Peloponese.

Wow, I thought I would have to travel back to Europe to get this kind of Pizza again. Love this place and my wife and I are so glad we found it. This is a small family owned establishment. So there are only about 4 tables inside. But damn, the food was amazing. We ordered a 16" Anthenian pizza with a small Greek salad. I'm very sensitive to gluten, but this pizza I can eat since they get their ingredients from Greece. Yes, they pay more but as the owner informed me, it's what makes the difference. I can't deny that. I was able to eat the pizza with no problem to my sensitive gut. I haven't eaten a pizza for over 5 years because of that. So to say I enjoyed this pizza is barely giving it due credit. I was in heaven...LOL. Yes, I definitely recommend this place. I'm looking forward to going back as soon as they come back from summer vacation ( closed August - mid September).

We ate lunch again yesterday at one of our most favorite places to eat in Palm Springs, Nina's Greek Restaurant. As usual, the welcome from Nina was wonderful, warm and welcoming. The food is always fresh and delicious. The lamb shank is outstanding. We also love the Pasta Ala Mykonos, the World Famous Gyros sandwich and the fabulous Feta Cheese Plate. We would absolutely recommend Nina's as a great place to eat in or for take out!
We have been coming to Nina's since 2019 and I have to say the food is great and the service is great too. Both Nina and her husband Takis have always been great to talk to and provide great service. One of the originals reasons we tried Nina's is because of the bad reviews and the way Takis responded to them told us that if the owner is willing to defend their food like this it is worth a try and it definitely was!
So to everyone writing the bad reviews I agree with the owner go somewhere else the food is quality, delicious and the owners are super nice. If you like Greek food and are looking for somewhere good definitely give them a try.
